slides stop half way?

I am putting together a Power point with 53 slides. I have music playng
thoughout and have tried to rehearse the timing but the slide show appears to
stick at random slides each time I play it. Any ideas as to the problem?

Does it just stuck there? Go to the slides which stop halfway. Click Slide
Show > Slide Transition. Check if it is set to Advance automatically after.
If no, then put a checkmark on it.

Why not change the Power point files to other file format,like
video(avi,mpeg) or cd/dvd?For example,you change the ppt files to dvd,then
you can play it anywhere without time and space limitation on dvd player,you
can also upload your dvd to some video website(YouTube) to share with other
poeple on the Internet.
If you want to change your PowerPoint files to dvd file,moyea ppt to dvd
