Slide will not advance automatically after specified time

D

Dan L.

Using PPT 2003.

Have a slide, containing some Custom Animations - - - visual elements (text
Fly-ins) and a sound/song file.

Have been able to get the sound/song file to behave as desired, with respect
to its own set Stop/Start times, and with respect to the other animations on
that slide.

However, this slide will not advance automatically, although it is set to do
so at a specified time.

Incidently, it WILL advance if set to do so with a click --- but only after
TWO clicks !!! This program really seems quirky.

Anyway --- how can I get this thing to advance automatically?

Thanks!

Have you set the music to stop playing after X slides?
Also, set Start playing "From last position" and see if it works.
