Hi. I have prepared a slide show on powerpoint and would like to send it by
email but i would like the person who will open my email with the attachement
to have the show directly on his screen and not my work. How could I do that?
Thanking in advance anyone who could help me.

Save the presentation as a PowerPoint Show (.PPS) file instead of as a normal
PPT file. You can actually just rename your existing .PPT to a .PPS and it'll
have the same effect. When you doubleclick it, it starts the presentation in
slideshow view and exits PowerPoint when the show ends.

Many many thanks Steve!!!

Actually I didn't notice that I could save with more possibilities.

Best regards,
Panos

Hi Steve

My question is on creating a slide show. When I save the pictures to
powerpoint the pictures seem to take up the whole screen cutting off some of
the picture during the slide show. How can I make the picture fit??

Look at the size of the slide before you insert the picture. Some pictures come
into PowerPoint bigger than the slide itself.

The slide area fills the screen during a slideshow, so anything off the slide gets
cropped off, even though you can see it in normal editing mode.

So ...

After inserting the picture, click it to select it then drag the CORNER selection
handles to shrink it down to fit the size of the slide itself.

Resize your picture in a photo editor, e.g., Adobe PhotoShop or MS Photo
Editor. Set units to pixels and set the width to less than 1024 (horizontal
screen size in pixels for the most popular setting). The height will be
adjusted automatically but make sure that it is less than 768. If it is
greater, make the height less than 768 and the width will be adjusted by
Windows. Then, save the picture in .jpg format and insert it into PP the
usual way.
