Slide Show is Pixelated

I just started using Windows Movie Maker and made some slide shows with my
jpeg pictures.
But when I play them back everything including the text is pixelated.
Once the transition is finished it takes a second or two for it to
straighten itself out but then it quickly goes to the next image so nothing
looks right.
Please help!

Posting more details might help you get a better
answer.

Does this occur after you save in a movie format
and play the .wmv file in Windows Media Player?

If you are simply playing the project from the timeline
in full screen...it is normal to be low resolution.

BTW...for creating movies from still shots...
Photo Story 3 might work better for you..

Thanks for your quick reply John,
After I created the slide show I saved it as a movie onto my computer.
When I played it back it in Windows Media Player was pixelated.
Also, when I emailed it to my friend and she viewed it she said it was
pixelated on her computer as well.
I tried it with images that were a resolution of 72 and then again with the
same images set at 240 but there didn't seem to be any difference.
Both slide shows looked bad.
I will check out the link you provided.

Maybe you used the E-Mail save option?
This will create a very low resolution file.

Try these steps...

Save Movie File / My Computer / Next /
Choose a name and save location / Next /
Best Quality / Next...

If this fails to produce the result you expected...
the next step would be to use a custom profile.

Thanks for that link but wow, very confusing.
About Photo Story 3: can these slide shows be loaded onto a web site?
I didn't see any information about that.

PhotoStory movies can be uploaded if the website accepts .wmv files.
