Slide Numbers and Hidden Slides

Good day all,

Here's my most recent quandary. I am working on a presentation that
requires slide numbers to be on the slide. I have that part figured out, so
here's the real question. There are a number of slides that need to be
hidden, when hidden the slide numbers don't dynamically change. Ex. Slide 7
is hidden, when presenting the slide numbers skip from 6 to 8. Is there any
way in PowerPoint to set up a dynamic slide numbering system so that when the
slides are/aren't hidden the slide numbers sync up. Thanks in advance for

Thanks for the idea, but I am looking for a different way to do this as the
hidden slides will be printed as part of a participant guide. All of slides
need to stay in the same presentation. This is a great idea that I will
surely look in to for other presentations. Thanks.
