slide number covered by image

After I insert the slide numbers, some were covered by the images in the
slides wherever there are the images at the location of slide number. I
tried to change image's order by selecting "send to back" and "send backward"
and change slide number text box's order by selecting "send to front" and
"send forward", but neither worked. Is there any way I can see the page
numbers on the slides without moving images away from page number area?

By the way, my power point version is 2003. Thanks a lot.

Don't think it is possible in 2003. One possible way you can try out is to
add a 10% transparency (Slide Show > Custom Animation. Add Effect > Emphasis
Transparency) to the image so that the slide number can be seen.

Fortunately, PowerPoint 2007 now allows better control of the slide number,
footer and date placeholders. Hence, you can move these placeholders on the
slide and also bring them to the front.

June,

Shawn likes 2007 too much...

;-)

Go to the Slide Master...

Copy the Slide Number placeholder...

Paste it in each slide you want the number to appear...

;-)

Very cordialmente
