Not sure if I can do this or not but here goes..

I have two graphics on my Slide Master but
when I place a large graphic, like a picture
on my first content slide, the picture covers
up the graphics that are on my Slide Master.

Can I make the graphics on a Slide Master
always appear on top of all the 'stuff' I put
on new slides added afterwards?

Thanks in advance, you MVP's are great!

No, you have to think of the master as your canvas. Everything that you add
in Normal view is the paint and covers the canvas. If you want to control
the "order" of the two images, place them on the slide in Normal mode and
then use the Order function on the Draw toolbar.

If you are using PowerPoint 2002 or 2003, both of which allow multiple
Masters, you can create a second Slide Master that does not contain the
background images. Then apply that Slide Master to any slide where you need
to control the order.
