Slide.Export corrupts slides

Hello,

I use a macro to export slides containing a special comment
to PNG-Files (to generate hand-outs for a presentation).

In Powerpoint 2003, the Slide.Export method correctly exports
the slides.
In Powerpoint 2007, the slides are corrupted, i.e. boxes and
texts are not properly arranged.

The funny thing is, that "Save as... -> PNG -> Current slide only"
correctly exports the current slide without destroying the layout.

Is this a known bug in Powerpoint 2007?
Is there a work-around?

Thank You in advance,

J. Uhrmann

That depends on what type of corruption you're getting. If you're
exporting at over 960 pixels wide and getting an image of the correct
size but with black bars at right and bottom, then it's a known
problem.

Install SP2 and the problem's fixed.

I have already SP2 installed.
It seems like the handling of text boxes with scaled-down fonts
does not work properly, i.e. the fonts of text boxes that should
be scaled down because of insufficient space are not scaled down
in the PNG image.

Thus, the text flows out of the containing text box.

By the way, it is a ppt file which is opened by PP2007 in compatibility mode.

King regards,
