Currently when my laptop comes out of sleep mode, it goes to the Welcome
Screen where I have to click on my name to get Windows started again. Is
there anyway to make it go directly to Windows?

Kelly has a downloadable fix at line 29, right "disable getting
started welcome screen - logon". You might want to check the other
relevant tweaks, or her A-Z area (W) as well.

Control Panel> Power Options> Advanced. Remove check next to "Prompt for
password when computer resumes from standby." Click OK.
