Sleep command

Running Vista Home Premium; the past few days, The computer does not
Turn off when I use the "sleep" option in shutoff. Also using the
administrator role and the Windows Classic theme..any thoughts? Thanks

Me again..I just remembered installing a webcam a few days back and the
installation put in some programs including Windows Live Messenger. I'll
check the options on that program and let you know if that is the
culprit...BW

culprit...BW As promised, there are options under the sign in tab that
allows the program to start up with windows or not..now applied and crisis
is over..
