On a from there is a subform strictly for viewing data that is being gathered
for a project. When tab is pushed after the last entry, I want the user to go
to a new record, to the first field and not to the subform... but I have not
been able to get this to work. Thanks in advance for your help! Jani

Jani,
Try setting the subform TabStop to No, or rearrange the Tab Order for the subform.
Also, make sure the form's Cycle property is set to All Records... not Current Record.
