Skip field in Export Specification

I am using Access 2002 SP3, I've created an export specification for tab
delimited export, the problem is that when I choose to skip a field and
proceed to export query results, it does NOT skip the field that I've
specified?

Sounds like a bug. You can get around it by exporting a query rather than a
table.

Pat,

It is a query that I am trying to export and exclude one of the fields. Any
suggestions? Do you know of any hotfixes for this?

I am suggesting that you export a query that includes ONLY the columns that
you need to export.
You can search the kb for hotfixes. The usual recommendation is to not
install them unless they actually claim to fix a problem that you are
experiencing.

This is a known issue for ACCESS 2002 SP3. This issue is described in
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;875252

There is a Hotfix available from Microsoft Technical Support for this
problem. Description of the Access 2002 post-Service Pack 3 hotfix package:

There also is a HotFix for ACCESS 2003 SP1 for similar issue.
