No not really does in have a small button cell type battery to keep
cmos and clock (time of day settings)
I had looked at Polywell Computers but as I live in Canada was hoping
to get a local place to build it. Was all set to go when they told me
that the AMD64 FX chip would not be in stock in Canada till first of
December or so. So I will just hold off till them. All the reviews I
have seen have been good. The only thing that bothers me is that I
under stand the 940 pin is going to change to 939 or something. By
getting it build locally by a shop that has been aound here for 10
years if you have problems your not trying to deal with and outfit in
the states.
