SK8N future CPU Upgrades

I am planning on getting the new 940 pin AMD64 FX51 and now I read
that in the new year AMD will be going 939 Pin. Does this mean that
there will be no upgrade path using this Mother
Board SK8N from ASUS.

As long as the last pin package was in existence, I can't see AMD
re-designing the complete package to lower the pin count by 1. Most
likely there will be 1 less pin placed in the current scheme. 1 that is
currently not being used for anything useful in the 940-pin array. So
it should work with the same socket. If they added a pin, I'd be more
concerned!
