Size of web/speed

Using FP2002 on Virtual PC on Mac, have large web with subwebs (700MB all in
all) wondering whether this is practical as tends to crash and time out when
doing anything on the downloaded web...is this a virtual PC and/or FP 2002
problem...more to the point is it practical? Do I have to buy a PC and skip
the emulator OS or will it continue to crash due to size...? Also In Win2000
what paging file size should one have to run this? (Sorry so many "?"'s)

The size of the web shouldn't be an issue, because when you open a web you are opening it in
FrontPage explorer and looking at a tree view much as you are if you look at the drive in Windows
Explorer.

As for paging file, I always let windows manage the size.
However, some people think it should be equal to RAM or 1 and 1/2 times RAM, but that is actually a
leftover from the 9X days and wastes disk space.
