Occasionally my window size gets changed. It is now about
2"x 2". I can maximize it and all is well, but I would
like to know how to change the settings so it starts up
maximized. TIA Ron

How does it 'start up'? An icon on the desktop or program list? If so,
right-click it and you will see a dialog with two tabs: General and
Shortcut. Under Shortcut, one is of the options labeled "Run", allowing you
to choose between a normal, minimized or maximized window.

Windows remembers the size of the last Normal IE window closed.
Open such a link.
Don't use the maximize button.
Stretch the edges/corners so that the window fills the screen.
Close all other IE windows.
Close the stretched window.
