When a new window opens now, it's no longer full-size. How do I reset it so
that they open maximized?

On the New Open window Place your Mouse/Pointer over the Edge of the window
untill you seee it change to double arrows (<--->) then hold dwon your Left
mouse and Drage away from the Middle of the Window, do this in all directions
(Left,Right, UP,Down) untill you get the desired size and Close the First
screen/Window you opened the New one from and Hit F5 to refresh.
Next time you open a new window it will open Maximized.
HTH.
Please let us know if it helped.

Nass: Your solution is a normal window that has been stretched to fill the
screen. This is not the same as a maximized window. FYI

Open a new window from a link that launches one. Close all previous IE
windows. Do not click the Maximize button. Drag the edges to resize the IE
window open as large as you want, then while holding SHIFT down, close the
window by the "x". This should maintain the new window size between
sessions.

New windows are not truly maximized, but can be set to nearly so by the
method above.

Or you could try this little utility:

IE New Window Maximizer 2.3

Autosizer

MaxMonkey
