Size of icons and fonts got smaller

I am running 2000 and I don't know how to get back to the
original larger size fonts and screens. Where do I go to
change it?

Start
Settings
Control Panel
Display
Apperance tab
Scheme drop down box
Choose "Windows Standard" or "Windows Classic"
click Apply
click OK
 
By lowering the display resolution, on-screen items will appear larger.

Go here:
Start | Settings | Control Panel | Display
and click the settings tab. In the lower right part of the dialog box,
you'll see an area labelled "Screen Area". Move the slider to the left a
notch or two and then click "OK" and follow the on-screen instructions. Keep
fiddling with the "Screen Area" setting until it gets to the size you
prefer.
