I would like to add a Site Search function to my Frontpage 2003 website. How
can I do that?

Thank you,

Moshe

FrontPage has a built-in search.

How do I use Frontpage's built-in search? I've tried to find this out both
through their help section and a book I own on Frontpage and haven't been
successful.

Thanks.

Insert Menu | Components | Search Form

Note: Remote server must have the FP extensions installed and the site must be published to the
remote server via FP's http mode, i.e., http://www.yourdomainname.com

If hosted on a Windows IIS server, the host might have to build a Index Catalog for your site.

I didn't realize this when I added a web search component to my home page.
After publishing the page, I tried to remove the web search component, but
now I am getting the following error message and now I can't make ANY changes
to my home page!! How do I remove this feature??

"The server could not complete your request. Contact your Internet service
provider or web server administrator to make sure that the server has the
Frontpage server extensions or sharepoint services installed"

Do as it says. Contact your Provider. They will likely need to reinstall
the FP Extensions for you.
