I have a site that I want to edit with FrontPage. I have 2000 on one
computer
and 2003 on another. The host site has given me the User Name and password.
I have tried them over and over (case sensitive, I know) but can't get on to
the
site. The web host assures me that it is working. I have done this many
times on
other sites.

The dialog box that appears with each try is titled Name and Password
Required.
"This operation requires author permission for www.kxxxxxxxx.com:80.
Name and password are case sensitive."

Is "80" the right port for this??? I know he said that this was also the
name and
password for FTP.

HELP Please. I'm stuck!!!
Jenny

Port 80 is correct, however the host must configure the FP extensions for you to have authoring
permissions.
