Site map, Table of Contents or Hyperlink????

I am wondering if I am making the navigation of my website all wrong. I used
hyperlinks at the top of my page to get to other pages. I keep reading that
sites need a sitemap or table of contents to get search engines to crawl of
of the pages associated with the site. You can see my site
http://www.pilottie.com Should I be doing the links different?? I really
want the links on the top of the page in a different color so people can find
them easily. When I try to make a site map or table of contents I cant
change the font or location of the text.

Any suggestions or comments would be great,

I think that's a very cool product you've come up with! Very clever.

I just went to your site to see what you'd done, as I just went through the
sitemap thing myself, and ended up just making one up by hand because the
sites are small enough. The table of contents feature didn't do what I was
looking for.
