Site Login Query

E

E/B

At login for a website the Username and Password are required. Past
error occurred by entering first letter of Username and then tabbing
to PW window without finishing entry; correction made to Username and
login OK.
Now every time I type the first letter of the Username I am presented
with a dropdown showing two entries: the single letter and the full
username. Click on username and away we go to complete login.

Question: can I/how do I eliminate the unwanted first letter in that
dropdown so only the full username will appear?
(This also can be found at places where city names or zip codes are
entered; correct and incorrect spellings/numbers show in dropdowns.
Same resolution sought).

To get rid of the single letter, you have to get rid of the username also,
but when you go back to the site, you will only have to enter the username
once and it will be remembered after that. Note that this will affect other
sites with remembered passwords and they to will have to be entered once
again.

Tools | Internet Options | Content | Auto Complete. Click: Clear Passwords.

For the ZIP Codes, click: Clear Forms. Same results.
