Sir Search

After downloading and installing a freeware Xmas
screensaver, then removing it, I have found an annoying
change with the search features of IE that I cannot find
a way to remove.

Whenever I use search functions from the Address Bar by
typing "Search" in this field (and whatever I'm searching
for) I am automatically taken to searches from
www.sirsearch.com.

I have repeatedly contacted Sir Search support; however,
they keep sending me canned answers that do not address
my issue.

I have tried adjusting ALL the customizing features of
IE, but Sir Search does not leave my PC. I can't find
any sirsearch.* files or folders. Nothing installed to
uninstall (had already removed PowerSearch).

I've looked through the registry settings, but can't find
anything there either.

Does anyone have any ideas? If you do, would you mind
e:mailing me directly?
