Address Bar Default Search engine

Hi

Can any one help?

I am running a win98 machine where by mistake one of those
stupid hotbar or powerbar tools were installed to my IE6
browers. I have attempted to remove which it has off my
browser but not from my add/remove list. every time I
select remove it throws me to a website
(http://www.sirsearch.com/toolbar/partner/cursorzone/uninst
all.html) and claims to have removed it.

However it is still on my list. (THATS NOT THE WORST OF IT)
for some reason now it has defaulted my "Address Bar"
search to go to a site called rpsearch.com, and then
redirects to xml.overture.com rather than my prefered
NineMSN.com all I wanna do is type in MSN or HOTMAIL under
the address bar and for it to give me a list of where I
can go like before.

I have adjusted the settings under the search icon and
reset EVERYTHING to NineMSN and it still uses this stupid
xml.overture.com (Almighty Search)

Anyone have any clue on how to remove and reverse?

Thanks in advance.

Anthony.
