single mouse click

how do i set the mouse to open files with a single click
instead of a double click
 
Right click on My Computer on the desktop choose Explore from the menu. Goto
Tools Menu and select Folder Options. Select the option saying "Single Click
to open an item (point to select) in the "Click items as follows" frame.
