Single Key Reading, NOT in reading pane

In Office 2003, I used to use spacebar to skim through long email messages &
email news alerts quickly. In Office 2007, it seems you can only do this in
reading pane, not in a new message window. I need to be able to see more
content than reading pane allows, and more of the history of my messages than
is visible when reading pane is on. Is there a way to add spacebar as a
left-handed keyboard shortcut for page down in a message window? Not being
able to use spacebar w/ my left hand while keeping right hand on the mouse to
click links in the messages is a huge blow to my productivity.

I would have thought "HUGE" blow to productivity was a TAD overstated......
You could use the scroll wheel in your mouse or, shock horror, put the
finger of your LEFT hand on the Page Down key....
