simulatanious installation on a network

Hi there,

guyz i've a win2k server running as a domain, with around a 100 pcs XP PRO
network, now if i want to install any application i've to do it on all ther
computers, is there any way it can be done at domain only and the users run
the word or ne applicaiton i install from domain only

or

i dont ve to move to every computer and installation can be done from one pc
only

immediate assistance shall be hgihtly appreciated

If you have a domain and Active Directory you can use domain policies to
push out any software packaged in a MSI (Microsoft Installer) package when a
user either logs on or off.

A solution would be to use a terminal server like Citrix and publish that
application to your users. Not a cheap solution if you're just looking to get
out of installing the app on all of the workstations.

If you're just looking for a way to minimize the time required to install
the app, there are better ways. You can script an unattended installation to
take place from a network share when a user logs on.
