Sims 2-direct x 9.0

WHEN I ATTEMPT TO INSTALL THE SIMS2 ON PC A DIALOGUE BOX
COMES UP SAYING 'CABINET FILES CANNOT BE TRUSTED' AND
CONSEQUENTLY THE INSTALLATION FAILS. IT HAPPENS EVERY
TIME. DOES ANYONE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AND/OR A
SOLUTION? I WOULD BE VERY GRATEFUL FOR ANY HELP. THANKS.

Do you have Cryptographic Services set to automatic
in Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Services?
