sims 2 and video card

Steve

I'm considering buying a new desktop with a Geforce 6100 video card.
This card is not listed as one compatible with Sims 2 (though the 500
series is listed as well as Geforce 2; isn't the 6100 more advanced?)

What PC (<$600) would you buy if the primary purpose was gaming, but
not heavy duty (i.e., not more than Sims 2)?

Thanks!

Hi Steve,

Your best bet, since I'm not sure if that's $600 Canadian, US, or other,
is to visit your local computer shop, and have them custom build a
system to your specifications, which would include compatibility with
games like SIMS 2. For the list of graphic cards supported by SIMS 2
