Thanks, that's pretty good. Handy view of sunrise/sunset. Still
looking though, as it would be good to be able to attach an
anniversary, holiday, etc.

Yes, this is the best, with a full year display, among other display
modes, month, week, forthnight, todo-list.

It will remember the mode until it is started the next time, set it to
year display and that is what you get.
It is very customizable, colors, fonts etc..

English or german interface and holidays.

Unfortunately this download link hasn't worked all day, and there are
no alternative download locations.
Maybe it is on the pricelessware CD?

Otherwise we'll see if the server shows up again.
It is probably a temporary server failure.

Roger: My only serious gripe is that UK holidays are not covered ;-(

Using 'English (United States)' I get 41 holidays, more than half of
which I have switched off, like Lincoln's Birthday, President's Day,
Mardi Gras, Earth Day, Secretaries Day and 'Administrative
Professionals Day'(!)

As a minor point, I'd also like to have seen 'holidays' coloured
differently to weekends.

But overall it looks as if it will be very handy, thank you.

of course it would be better with ackurate holidays for the user's
country.

You can remove all holidays you do not need in the settings, though.
I see you have already found that setting.
