simple VPN question

I want to connect from home > to office pc.

I purchase a static ip.

I have dlink vpn passthru router.

Where do i put this static ip? Do I put it in the router somewhere?

And do I still use dhcp on my network local area connection icon in network
panel?

You should put it in the router as WAN IP.
