Simple File Sharing

Hello,

Is it possible to turn this off with XP Home edition? I know how to do it
with Pro but the option to do it isn't there with Home ed.
I've also tried Tweak UI but this doesn't help.

Because Home only comes with simple file sharing so it cannot be turned
off - what would replace it?

Ok,

I thought maybe the ability to set permissions for files+folders was
built-in "under the bonnet" with XP, I thought it would just be a matter of
enabling it, I stand corrected.

Seems a bit of a silly omission to me, but there you are.
