Signing in to Communities

Why does the forum constantly request that I sign in when I post, even if I
have just recently signed in? I also keep getting a form that asks if I want
Microsoft to send me emails. How can I change this?

I think you'll find that the more serious participants in these newsgroups
use eschew the web interface, preferring to use news readers (such as
Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Forte or others)
