signatures

I went into tools, options, signatures to enter a signature, but it's not
letting me use a file because my files are "all files," not just "text
files." Anyone have any ideas on this?? Thanks...
 
Well, your text file should be listed when showing All Files..
When you click on the down arrow in the filter box, you don't see Text Files
(*.txt) ?
 
For some reason my files are not listed in text files, but only with *.* I
probably saved them in 2007 Vista format.
 
You probably saved them without the .txt extension, or a different
extension.

A text signature file is created outside of your email program, with a text
editor like Notepad. It is usually saved with a name like SIGNATURE.TXT
