signature image disappears after a minute OL 2003

When I create a new e-mail or reply to an e-mail, the signature appears
correctly with the logo image for about a minute, then the logo just vanishes
leaving the placeholder box with the red cross in it. If I am quick enough I
can send the e-mail with the logo. If I delete all the signature section then
insert from the Insert menu, I get the logo again - for another minute.

I have been using a sigature with a logo in it for 2 years for e-mails in
Outlook 2003, this has started recently, and I can't see what has changed to
cause this to happen.

Is there any sort of work-round, and does it make any difference if I use a
different image file format ? I am using the Outlook html editor, not word.

I don't think so but you can try different image types and Word as the
editor if you like. If anything happens to fix it less us know.

Changing to Word as the editor has fixed the problem. Not ideal though, as
e-mails are now bloated with all the code that Word puts in. I have a new
untitled message sat in an open window for quite some time now, and the logo
is still visible. Other e-mails I have sent and replied to also now have the
logo as it should be.
Bill, thanks for your assistance with this.

I have the same issues and think the change happens when the email is
background saved into the draft folder. I note that, when sending it to my
alternative address at Yahoo, the image still shows. Very odd issue.
