When I send a message from Word or other applications, my Outlook message
window is opened and I can add the information I want, addreses etc. However,
my signature is missing. Also I would sometimes like to add a different
signature to a specific message. Is there a way to add one of my signatures
to a single message? Thanks.

Sending from another Office application does not call the "full" version of Outlook so your signature will not show. If you start an Outlook message and use Insert->File, you get the signature.

Thanks for the help. This is easy to work around, but seems kind of
crappy, 'cause there are times where I'd like to replace my signature
with a different one and do not make that decision until after I have
composed the message. There really should be some way of inserting a
signature into an individual message once it is composed.

What version of Outlook? I do what you describe in Outlook 2003 all the
time.
