sign or encrypt error message

I was selecting a custom stationary and somehow ended up messing up my Outlook.
I get this error message and can not fix it.
"Microsoft Outlook could not sign or encrypt this message because you have
no certificates which can be used to send from the email address ...."
I have tried everything to fix it except the correct thing.
Please help in a how to format.
Thanks a Million!

Version of Outlook?
What exactly did you try?
Default encryption settings can be set in Tools-> Options-> tab Security
