I am the systems administrator. When I sign on I have to
select my personal icon and enter a password. After
approximately 15 minutes of no activity, the computer
reverts to the Windows screen and I have to again select
my personal icon and password to get back to my desktop.
Is there a way to prevent this from happening?
Thank you, John J. Donadio

Right click desktop, properties, screen saver tab, uncheck: on resume
password protect or on resume display welcome screen.

Control Panel - Display - Screensaver. Uncheck the 'On resume, password
protect' box
