Sign in problems that are baffling me

I have MSN Messenger 6.2 and have been using it without
problems for ages. However recently when clicking the sign
in icon it begins to sign in and the icon of those two
figures begins twurling and then it just stops and goes
back to the sign in, there is no error message. I have
uninstalled and reinstalled with no joy. What is
interesting is that it does work if I allow my girlfriend
to sign in using her details. Any suggestions would be
appreciated.

Greetings RJ,

You may need to completely remove your Messenger settings and then try again. To do so,
click Start, then Run,
then type:
%appdata%\microsoft
and click OK.

Right-click the MSN Messenger folder and choose Delete. After all this, restart Messenger
and see if the problem has been corrected.
