Sidewinder not working

Give this a try

Goto the Game Controller Control Panel
Then Add, Microsoft Sidewinder (auto-detect)...

Drivers for the Sidewinder Series Joysticks/game devices are built-in with
WinXP

Please note that any Profiling software that came with the gameport hardware
won't work as that was not designed for Windows XP (or 2000). There are
currently no
plans for updates.

I have just bought a new laptop and it came with windows xp home edition.
The problem is that I have a sidewinder force feedback pro version 3.0
joystick and the drivers I have are for window 98. Can this device be used
on XP and if so wher can I get the drivers?? I have looked on the Microsoft
site as well as Driverdownload.com burt still nothing, please can someone
help me.
