Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback

I recently upgraded my unit to MSI K7n2-L Delta, and install
everything...I added a sound card cause my sidewinder is a
GAMEPORT... now... after installing the soundcard... i
installed the latest sound card driver... After that... the
gameport is not working... a problem that state... not
enough resources, then I cant change the basic
configuration... I dont have any conflict of the device...
its just wont let me change the I/O setting.... Is there
any setting that would manually change the i/o...

Also, I have tried adding a new STANDARD GAMEPORT, work's
fine, but --- It detected my sidewinder.... but the auto
detection detected Microsoft Sidewinder 3d pro... What is a
3d pro? My unit is Microsoft Sidewinder forcefeedback....
This is weird....

Do you have more than one gameport in the system? Keep in mind sometimes
onboard sound cards will have a gameport without a physical connection. Try
looking in your BIOS for a way to disable an onboard gameport if it is
there. If there is 2 gameports listed in Device Manager and you cannot
disable one in the BIOS you can try disabling it in Device Manager but that
doesn't always work.
The Sidewinder driver "detecting" and installing a 3D Pro is just how the
driver handles not detecting a device. Essentially you have told the driver
there is a device attached and to load the driver for it. It can't find the
device so it just loads the 3D Pro. If at some point it then gets access to
the device it will change the driver to the correct device.
