Hi Microsoft. I have a sidewinder force feedback pro
joystick. However, it uses a gameport, but the motherboard
I have no longer use's a gameport (ABIT NF7-S) only USB. I
somehow sourced a gameport to usb adaptor, but the joystick
isnt recognised. Any idea on how to recitfy this?

Either purchase a separate soundcard with a built in gameport controller or
buy a new USB joystick.

The problem with the adapter lies in the fact that a USB controller must
know what's connecting to it. It gets this information from hard data built
into the device. No data, no connection. Cannot be overcome.

Hi, I've tried the soundcard idea, but apparently it doesnt
seem to like it. IE. not enough resources, quite surprsing
really. I'll have another bash now ive taken my DVBs card
out. Thanks for your advice though :)
