when i close sidebar do i lose the gadgets i have on the side bar or do they
come back when i open side bar so i dont have to redo each gadget

Would it not be quicker to try it than to type to a NG and await a reply?

No as i would have had to retype all the stock abbrev. i had just done and i am not about to do that again if i can help it.
