Hi, I'm new here (but have a lot of Windows and Vista experience) and I'm
hoping someone can help. FWIW, I'm on Vista Ultimate x64.
I have several gadgets (The Weather Channel, most notably) where the flyout
menus no longer work properly. On the TWC gadget, if you click on it you'll
get a flyout with the forecast; there are also several buttons (extended
forecast, radar, etc) where I used to be able to click and get a link to the
proper page in IE. Those buttons no longer work, i.e. I can't click them.
The mouse icon should change from a pointer to the "click finger" but it's
not happening anymore. I should note that this used to work, but stopped
about a month ago for no apparent reason. I should also note that this
behavior isn't exclusive to that one gadget; I have several others that
behave the same way.
I've checked here, and made sure that I went through other solutions that
looked as if they might work. I'm out of ideas now; some update must have
changed a setting somewhere.
Anyone else have this issue and fix it?
Thanks,
-Roger
