How can I get the newsfeed gadget to remove the articles that I've read?

I used to have a widget on XP and every 15 minutes it would check the feed
and display new articles. Once I'd read them they disappeared from the list.

I currently have 65 articles in my feed, most of them I've read. It would
help to clear the list so I can see new items when they arrive.

Hi Nick,

There is no option to configure that, though I agree with you that it's a
good idea.
