shuts down

just got a new computer with xp home. when i leave the
computer on and leave for awhile(30 minutes) it shuts
itself off.

i mean the computer shuts off not just the monitors.

if i'm using the computer it stays on. any ideas? thanks

Go to Classic Control Panel>Power Options. Make sure the Enable
Hibernation button is checked. If it is then go here.
