MY COMPUTER SHUTS DOWN WHEN I TRY TO CONNECT INTERNET VIA
MODEM
I AM USING XP
I RE INSTALLED
BUT
IT DID NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM

PLEASE HELP
 
Sibel,
I had a similiar problem when I was using an ethernet
adapter connected to a Morotola Cable modem. The
ethernet adapter did not have updated drivers for Win
XP. It worked fine under Wind XP but once I updated to
SP@ everytime I connected to the internet my computer
would shut down. Check to see if there are updated
drivers for the hardware you are using to connect.
