shutdown

when my computer shutdown the image still showing up, it
doesn't shutdown totally, I have to press and hold the
button to shutdown. can someone tell me what going on or
can someone help me fix the problem, i have windows xp
home edition. thank you!
 
Open the Help and Support Center and look for the Startup and Shutdown
Troubleshooter.
