Shutdown problems

I recently attached the hardware and installed drivers
for a Lexmark X1155 All in One printer and now Windows XP
(SP2) will not shutdown normally. How do I resolve this
issue.
 
Remove the printer and uninstall the driver, then contact Lexmark technical
support.
