shutdown options

In XP Pro, we use the "classic" shutdown screen, where you pick
restart/shutdown/logoff from the dropdown. Is there a way to get that to
default to shutdown, instead of the last thing done?

No. Press the first letter of the option you want and press OK to
select it.
